Rampski Adopted

Adoption Story

RAMPSKI has been adopted! This beautiful boy has grown up in BAWCS care, alongside his other cat mates in our Adoption Cattery. Originally he was also sharing with his sibling Charlo, who has previously been adopted. He has quite an aversion to cat carriers and traveling so it was lovely to hear from his new family soon after and to know that he’s settling in so well. Update from new “mum” below….

Hi, just wanted to give you a quick update on Rampski. We took Rampski home on Saturday and he was petrified in the car (pooped in the carrier). The poor Luv had an overwhelming day so we’ve put him in his own space (office and run) to let him adjust in his own time. We spend plenty of time with him and I’m happy to tell you he’s opening up and enjoying some interaction with us. He’s no longer hiding, instead sits on HIS red leather chair, LOVES a good chin rub and is stretching out and seeking pats when we are with him. Boy does he love his food-he is demolishing the Royal Canin dental food and wet food and is toileting regularly. He has had a supervised introduction to Kitty Soft Paws and that went well-Rampski didn’t seem too phased and Kitty Soft Paws had her best manners on thankfully. The dogs have both said hello and Rampski just sat on his chair, growled a little bit to let them know who’s boss but didn’t run and hide. The dogs are curious and we will keep doing daily supervised play dates until Rampski is ready to join the fold. Delighted to tell you that he is tolerating being held and even had a snuggle and a purr yesterday. I’m sitting in the office today and have had several visits from Rampski across the desk to check out my work book, pens, drink etc. In summary he’s a beautiful calm boy and we will continue slow and gentle integration with the family. I’ll try to attach a picture for you in case you’re missing those handsome green eyes. Thanks again for approving the adoption, we’re very happy to have Rampski join our fur baby and human family.
