Supported by the Victorian Government through a State Budget funding allocation, (thank you Georgie Purcell – Animal Justice Party MP ) BAWCS Community Pets Support Program has enabled eligible cat owners to access discounted desexing, microchipping and vaccination.
Desexing is one of the most important things owners can do for their cat’s health and wellbeing. It helps prevent unwanted litters, eliminates the risk of uterine infections (pyometra) in females, significantly reduces the risk of mammary cancer and in males helps prevent testicular cancer.
We look forward to delivering this Program in partnership with Regional Community Vet Clinic, supporting responsible pet ownership, improving feline health and helping to reduce the number of kittens born year after year.
