Adoption Story
Smokey has been adopted! A mature girl who has been in BAWCS care for quite awhile and has been known for being a bit moody (particularly with other cats). Over time she has slowly began to trust again and the turning point a few months ago, when she climbed onto the lap of one of her carers. For some cats this is a regular occurrence but for Smokey, this was a big deal. Ever since, she has continued to come out of her shell and we were delighted when we were able to find the right home for this special girl. She will now be able to continue her retirement in a home of her own, where she will be given the time and space she needs to feel comfortable.
