Adoption Story
GUESS who has finally been adopted? In BAWCS Shelter care for a very long time (but always safe due to our ‘no kill’ policy), Sadie (our big beautiful 48kg girl) has been on trial and today we finalised her adoption with her new family.
It was pretty much love at first sight at the initial ‘meet and greet’ and once in her trial home she settled in well, winning over her new family.
Huge shout out to BAWCS dog trainer Sahil from Elite Canines Training who spent a lot of time with Sadie, getting to know her and undertaking the necessary training to ensure such a big dog would be a pleasure to walk in public.
We will miss Sadie at the Shelter but take comfort in her finding a lovely home of her own.
We look forward to updates from her new besotted family.
