MALIA had a rough start to life but fortunately ended up under BAWCS Shelter care and with our foster carer Liz taking on the ‘learn to trust humans’ gig, Malia’s future started looking brighter.
When she was old enough, her vet work was completed and it didn’t take long for her to be out ‘on trial’ with a prospective new home.
Malia’s new family were smitten from the start but the resident cat was not so sure! While Halo (also a previous BAWCS kitten) was not too keen on having a new sibling initially, with lots of patience and careful integration they are now playing and chasing each other. Every day they are getting more comfortable with each other and we look forward to updates.
