BILLY has been adopted! Our sweet little boy Billy has been on trial and his adoption was formalised today after winning his new adopter’s hearts.
From a hoarding situation and facing an uncertain future, BAWCS stepped in and provided a safe environment until the right home came along.
Always a shy boy, he slowly blossomed with our volunteers each day but continued to be a little shy with visitors to our Adoption Cattery. One couple who came along saw his sweetness and understanding he would need time to settle, decided to “trial” Billy in their home.
We’re always delighted when people are able to look past a cat’s shyness to give these less outgoing cats a chance and two weeks later Billy is slowly getting to know his new house but his devoted and attentive parents are determined to give him the time he needs.
