Volunteer with BAWCS – Make a Real Difference for Cats in Need
Do you love animals and have a genuine interest in animal welfare? Are you willing to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty for a good cause?
BAWCS is currently seeking dedicated and reliable volunteers for a limited number of positions in our Adoption Cattery.
We are looking for individuals who can commit to at least one morning shift (9:00am – 12:00 noon) on a Monday, either weekly or fortnightly. Please note: only Monday shifts are currently available.
This role is physically demanding, so a reasonable level of fitness is required—but the rewards are great, including the opportunity to interact with the cats in our care and directly contribute to their wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Volunteers must be 18 years or older
- Own transport is essential, as our shelter is located outside of town and is not accessible by public transport
- Please note: We are no longer able to offer Work Placement for students enrolled in Animal Studies or work experience.
